I got here around 1pm and it seem like the lunch rush has died down a bit. I was greeted with the good ole warm hospitality and the mouthwatering smell of fresh fried chicken. I knew full well to come right when they open or around lunch time because that's when I knew they were frying up fresh batches of chicken. My Cajun fries was fresh and flavored nicely. Cajun Rice was moist and had a good kick of spice to it. The fried chicken aka the main attraction was perfectly crispy, nicely seasoned and juicy. However the thigh pieces (dark meat) was on the small side but the skin was nice and large. The service was amazing. The employee of the month saw that the customer in front off was taking a while so she hopped on the register to take my order. She even gave me a free small drink because she assumed that my friend and I were sharing. After 10 minutes, my food came out. She offered all the condiments and had a great attitude / smile. I was very satisfied today.

This Popeyes location is really good about getting your order right in the drive thru but if they happen to make a mistake and you have to go inside the employees are really nice and they'll fix it for you. It might take a little bit longer sometimes but I don't mind because I know my chicken is gonna be hot and fresh. The dining area is pretty clean too. I got the $5 box with 3 tenders, mashed potatoes, dirty rice & a biscuit. The mashed potatoes and the biscuit were on point as usual, they're my favorite. I know it's fast food and I know the mashed potatoes come out of a box but I still love 'em. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the gravy had a little kick to it and the biscuits were super buttery. My biggest mistake was getting the tenders, they were really dry. I didn't finish eating my tenders but I ate a leg and it was ok. I don't know, I remember liking Popeyes a lot more. Have I turned into a fried chicken snob? Are my standards too high now since I've been going to Chicken Shack? Well I might stop eating their chicken but I know I will never stop eating their biscuits, red beans & rice or mashed potatoes & gravy.

Super friendly staff! Small wait on some fresh chicken, but a free drink while waiting! And of course, the chicken and biscuits are always great.

This is the worst Popeyes location. Do not go through the drive thru, cause you will wait there til you starve. I always go inside even if I want it to go, cause at least I can see why they take so long to serve your food. Apparently it's their bad management; chicken is never ready or available. The restaurant is pretty clean, probably cause no one wants to wait for their food or the bad service.

Popeyes corporate has fallen on hard times. Profits are down and the quality of the product and service is falling. This particular Popeyes used to have a hard time cooking enough chicken to keep up with demand. The biggest complaint was the waiting time. However, all that has changed in the past 6 months. The lines are gone. Now the chicken pieces are small and thin, a five piece box no longer serves three, two can finish it off quickly. Like the chicken, the quality and size of the biscuits and sides is declining. It used to be hard to eat a whole biscuit, but now they are 30%-40% smaller. They reduced the size and quality of the potato and red beans sides, and it is tough to find a whole red bean mixed in with the juice. If you ask for red beans w/o the rice, you get a half full container of salty brown water . . . hey! you said "No rice." If you also want extra brown water then pay double. Complaints to management are ignored. Complaints to the 800 number never get follow ups. Its a shame. Perhaps I'll stop by with a can of spinach to see if it helps. The product is worth saving!

Popeyes has pretty good food. This location is clean, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food preparation really is fast (especially for Popeyes; this location used to be on the terrible side in every category except for the tastiness of the food). This location is a good place to go if you ever get that unhealthy craving for some good Southern fried chicken.
